Bart Wetsteijn has been playing poker for just over two years and after graduating from Tilburg University in December 2006, he has focused on poker full time. Having always been a fan of card and board games, the Dutchman was introduced to the game by his brother. At present, Bart tries to play as much live poker as online and he has had some previous success playing Fixed Limit, as well as No Limit Texas Holdem. Bart can be found playing in both tournaments and ring games and his biggest poker success came in the form of third place in the Main Event at a Dutch Tournament, where he collected €10,200. Bart has also appeared at the 2006 World Series Main Event and couldn’t believe his luck when he won entry again. Already in Las Vegas, Bart is prepping himself for the Main Event by playing in a number of smaller events and improving his bankroll at the cash tables. When he’s not playing poker, Bart likes to keep fit by cycling, running and swimming. He also likes music, table tennis and squash but his biggest passion at the moment is poker. We look forward to Bart’s second appearance at the World Series Main Event and wish him the best of luck.
