WSOP 2007 Team

Dion Fotopoulos hails from Melbourne, Australia and has been playing poker seriously for about 3 years. Although he grew up playing Gin Rummy and 5 Card Draw, he discovered Texas Hold’em through the UK television show Late Night Poker and fell in love instantly with the game. Aside from poker, Dion has hosted Dance and wrestling shows on local radio, and is a self-confessed sports junkie who used to play Aussie Rules football, cricket and soccer competitively, but now settles for the odd round of golf. As Dion has previously worked at one of Australia’s major banks – and handled some of their biggest accounts, he will be in familiar surroundings should he pick up the multimillion dollar prize that comes with winning the WSOP.
