Half the Field Remains as the March to Final Table Begins on Day 2

Yesterday, the Season 10 European Poker Tour London £10,000+300 High Roller - a one re-entry event - attracted 148 entries (36 more than the EPT8 London High Roller in March), but throughout the course of the day exactly half the field hit the rail. That leaves 74 players here at the start of Day 2, though that number will go up as registration is open until the start of play.
Leading the 74 survivors is Carla Sabini, who happened to make a deep run in the Main Event yesterday before hopping in this tournament. The Canadian bagged 269,700 chips, and is looking to add to her $255,690 in career live tournament earnings.
Other big stacks include Antonio Lafosse (257,800), Shawn Buchanan (211,500), Frederik Jensen (196,100), Talal Shakerchi (187,400), Sorel Mizzi (180,900), Grant Levy (179,700), Dan Shak (168,700) and Jason Mercier (164,400). Joining them on Day 2 are Team PokerStars Pros Luca Pagano, Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Eugene Katchalov, Vicky Coren, Ville Wahlbeck, and Jonathan Duhamel.
The plan for the day was to play down to the final table, but given the turnout we'll no doubt come short of that before play comes to a close for the night. Nonetheless, expect a full day of high roller action. Cards will be in the air at Noon local time, which is about two hours from now. Join us then as we bring you all the latest and greatest straight from the tournament floor.
