EPT regular Jasper Wetemans already was the subject of several posts today, but his comeback is so impressive we have to write about him once again. At one point he had just 1,300 in chips left, now he has a staggering 72,000.
With a 35,700 stack he was seated in the big blind holding . The button opened to 2,200 and Wetemans made it 5,500. The player on the button wasn't about to let his pocket eights go and just shoved all in. Wetemans made the call and hit the jackpot on the flop: .
Wetemans wasn't totally save yet, but the on the turn secured his double up. The on the river couldn't save the button if his life depended on it, the Dutch player now has a way above average stack again.
