Fabrice Bigot raised to 300,000 on the button and up next it was Konstantin Held, who opted to move all in from the small blind for 3,580,000 with short-stack Henri Kasper in the big blind.
The Estonian quickly got out of the way while Bigot asked for an exact count and called.
Held made a heroic move at the wrong time and didn't find much help on the flop.
The turn gave both straight draws, but the river changed nothing whatsoever. Ace-queen high was enough for Bigot to score the knockout, sending Held to the payout desk in sixth place for €244,000 while Kasper enjoyed yet another pay jump.
