Guillaume Rivet raised preflop, and only Mack Lee gave him action, coming along in position.
The board ran out
with Rivet betting and Lee calling the whole way. At showdown, Lee's
was the winner, and Rivet flashed
on the way into the muck. Ship the pot to Lee, and Rivet is now the shortest stack in the room with just around 300,000 chips.
George Lind opened from early position, and the action folded to the blinds where Mack Lee (small) and Richard Ashby (big) both called. The flop came down , Lee checked, and Ashby put out a bet. Both Lind and Lee called.
All three players checked the on the turn, and the river was the suicide king; the
. Lee and Ashby checked to Lind who tossed out a bet, but he found no caller and scooped the pot.
Richard Ashby opened from the cutoff seat, and Jason Steinberg called from the big blind. The two men took a
flop, and it would be the last of Steinberg's day. He check-raised when Ashby bet, and they each put in two small bets before the
turn. Steinberg led out for 100,000, then called off his remaining 30,000 to an Ashby raise.
Showdown
Ashby:
Steinberg:
Steinberg needed some help to stay alive, but he'd find none. The river filled out the board, and Ashby let out a mini fist pump as he's eliminated a second consecutive player. This time he sends Steinberg to the rail, increasing his stack to 1.69 million in the process.
Steve Billirakis opened from early position, and the action folded to Mikael Thuritz who called all-in from the small blind. Richard Ashby called out of the big, and the flop came down . Ashby led into a dry pot, and Billirakis called.
The turn was the , and Ashby slowed down, check-calling a bet from Billirakis. Ashby did the same after the
fell on the river, and it was time for a showdown.
Billirakis: - High and Low
Ashby: - Low
Thuritz: Mucked - 8th Place and $54,837

Jason Steinberg opened with a raise, and Mack Lee defended his big blind with a call.
The flop came
, and Lee check-called a bet. They both checked the
turn, and Lee led out with a bet of his own on the
river. Steinberg called.
We never saw Lee's cards, but we know he had
for the wheel and the six-high straight. It doesn't matter what his other two cards are, that's good enough for a scoop. Steinberg is down to about 230,000 now, while Mack climbs to about 850,000.

Are you sensing a trend yet?
Steve Billirakis raised on the button, Viacheslav Zhukov re-raised from the big blind, and Billirakis made the call. The flop came down , Zhukov led, and Billirakis called. Zhukov led again after the
turned, Billirakis raised all in, and Zhukov put him at risk.
Zhukov:
Billirakis:
Billirakis' hand was best at the moment, but any heart, jack or seven would give Zhukov a scoop, and a non-ace or three low card would give him half the pot. The river was a three however - the in fact - and Billirakis successfully faded Zhukov's outs to scoop and double to 690,000 chips.
Jason Steinberg raised before the flop, and Mikael Thuritz defended his big blind with a call. The board ended up reading
, and Steinberg got as many bets in as he could. Thuritz raised the flop, and Steinberg jammed it back to three bets. Thuritz learned his lesson and just flatted the turn and river bets.
Steinberg had
, and we only caught a glimpse of Thuritz's matching
. He had no high hand, though, and he only gets one-quarter of the pot. Steinberg is up to about 575,000 with those three-quarters.
