The 2013 World Series of Poker Event #33: $2,500 Seven-Card Razz began two days ago with 301 runners, and today 131 of them returned to the Amazon Room inside the Rio All-Suite Casino to battle it out over ten one-hour levels. After a day full of Razz action (click here for the rules to Razz), just 14 players remain in contention for the $178,052 first-place prize. The man best position to make a run at it is chip leader David Bach, who bagged up 303,000.

Only 32 spots were slated to get paid, which meant 99 players would leave empty handed. Among them were Jason Mercier, Allen Kessler, Chris "Fox" Wallace, John Hennigan, Tom Schneider, Justin Bonomo, Perry Friedman, Scott Clements and defending champ Phil Hellmuth.

With 33 players remaining, just one more had to go before the the money was reached. Surprisingly that man accomplished Razz player Calvin Anderson, who earned the infamous title of bubble boy. From there, the in-the-money eliminations came at a rapid pace and included Jerry Case (32nd - $4,759), Stephen Chidwick (31st - $4,759), Matt Vengrin (30th - $4,759), Huck Seed (28th - $4,759), Archie Karas (26th - $4,759), Billy Baxter (24th - $5,752), Max Pescatori (22nd - $5,752), Esther Taylor (20th - $5,752), Steve Diano (18th - $5,752) and Scott Epstein (15th - $6,950).

While many fell there are still some recognizable names in contention including Ivan Schertzer (262,000), Brent Keller (188,500), Randy Ohel (175,000), Frankie O'Dell (155,000), Ismael Bojang (142,000), Bryan Campanello (137,500) and Tommy Chen (61,000).

The third and final day of the 2013 WSOP's only Razz tournament will kick off at 14:00 PST on Thursday. Join us then as we bring you all the action and eliminations on our way to crowing a champion.

Scott Epstein got the last of his chips in on fourth with {5-}{2-}{6-}{q-} against the {a-}{8-}{5-}{7-} of Adam Szalay. Szalay picked up a deuce on sixth to make an eight-seven, and Epstein failed to improve to a hand that could beat it. Epstein, who had a brief stint as the chipleader earlier today, went busto in 15th.

Rutter Crippled, But Surviving

• Nivel 18: 5,000-10,000, 1,000 ante

Stuart Rutter fired fourth, fifth and sixth against Randy Ohel, who called him down after he initially had the lead to begin the pot.

Ohel: {6-}{q-}{2-}{q-}
Rutter: {3-}{a-}{9-}{10-}

Rutter checked seventh, and Ohel bet. Rutter seemed resigned as he called. Ohel showed {a-}{3-}{5-} for a six-low, and Rutter mucked.

He went all in a short time later with his last ante but made a wheel. Another all in shortly thereafter yielded another wheel, and Rutter is still alive, though he's certainly still in critical condition.

Steve Diano: {6-}{5-} / {q-}{10-}{8-}{x-} / {8-}
Ivan Schertzer: {j-}{3-} / {a-}{j-}{10-}{4-} / {K-}

An extremely short-stacked Steve Diano had the bring in for 2,000, which left him with just 5,000 behind. Ivan Schertzer completed with a {A-} showing and action folded back around to Diano. He nonchalantly tossed in the rest of his chips and Schertzer made the call.

The dealer was quick in running out the remaining streets, which caused us to miss one of Diano's cards. Nonetheless he was unable to overcome Schertzer's J-10-4-3-A and was eliminated from the tournament in 18th place.

"That's My Enchilada, Homie"

[user153638] • Nivel 18: 5,000-10,000, 1,000 ante

Frankie O'Dell: {x-}{x-} / {4-}{9-}{7-}{9-} / {x-}
Brent Keller: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{q-}{9-}{2-} / {x-}

After there was a three-bet an call on third, Frankie O'Dell bet fourth and Brent Keller called. The action repeated itself on fifth, and then Keller check-called a bet on sixth. Keller checked for a second time on seventh, and then called when O'Dell bet.

"That's my enchilada, homie," O'Dell said as he tabled the {6-}{3-}{A-} for a 7-6-4-3-A low. Ship the enchilada!
