Kids in the Hall

Nivel 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A huge hand just developed between Thomas Hall and Remi Subair, and after long tank, Hall got his money in the middle holding a draw.

The action began when the flop fell {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades}, and Hall checked to Subair. This prompted Subair to fire out a bet of 21,000, and that's when the the theatrics started.

Hall asked for a count of Subair's remaining stack, and Subair instantly appeared nervous, stammering a bit as he counted his remaining stacks.

"About a hundred," Subair announced, miscounting his stacks by at least 60,000. "Somewhere around there?"

With Subair appearing utterly weak, Hall pushed out a raise to 59,500, and Subair soon moved all in over the top.

"Count please," said Hall, his displeasure evident. "I'm probably calling, but I need to know."

After the dealer informed Hall that he must pay 194,000 total to continue in the hand, he glumly announced the call while tabling {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

Subair stood in response, his Hollywood having worked to perfection, and tabled {A-Hearts}{A-Spades} for top set. Before he could celebrate, however, the dealer burned and turned the {Q-Clubs}, and when the {K-Hearts} came on the river his well disguised trap had backfired in the worst way.

"Disgusting...," was all Subair could say, as his entire stack was moved across the table. Soon afterward, Hall claimed the rest of Jeff Bartlett's stack when his {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} made two pair on the turn, and he now holds one of the largest stacks in the room.
