Jones Doesn't Fall for Ivey's Trap

Phil Ivey opened the pot with a raise to 600 from early position and his only customer was the talented young British pro Rhys Jones who was seated in the second best seat in the house, the cutoff. Jones called and when the button and blinds folded the dealer put the 
flop onto the felt.
Ivey checked the flop and Jones checked behind. Ivey also checked when the 
came into play and then called when Jones set the price to play at 900. The 
river completed the board, Ivey checked and Jones checked behind.
Ivey turned over 
for trip eights and Jones mucked.
"What was that?" asked Jones, "Is that because I busted one of your boys?" which implies Jones bust out David Peters who is no longer in his seat.
