Shawn Sheikhan raised to 6,500 from early position and it folded around to Larry Wright in the big blind. The 2012 $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball champion flatted from the big blind and took one card at the draw. Sheikhan followed suit, also pulling one new card.
"You've got a jack-ten," said Sheikhan to Wright. "Side bet. Side bet right now. You have a jack-ten."
"I'll check," said Wright, not being tempted by Sheikhan's side offer.
When action checked over to Sheikhan, he flung out a bet of 20,000 without hesitation.
"I've gotta call you," sighed Wright. "I have a ninety-seven." He fanned and Sheikhan slapped his hand into the muck.
Wright was pushed the pot and has now crossed the 200K mark with about 208,000 in chips. Sheikhan's stack, on the other hand, has been reduced to 21,000.
