Chan Shoves On Adeniya

Nivel 5 : 200-400, 50 ante

Terrence Chan opened the betting from the cutoff at the four-handed table with a raise to 1,000. Martins Adeniya, fresh from his final table appearance in the EPT London Main Event, three-bet to 2,850, forcing out the blinds. Chan sat motionless before springing into life and moving all in for 9,200.

Adeniya counted out the necessary chips but found a fold at the last moment.

Deeb defeats Bord to Win His Table

Nivel 5 : 200-400, 50 ante
Freddy Deeb
Freddy Deeb

Eugene Katchalov was eliminated in third and it took little time for Freddy Deeb to dispatch of James Bord heads-up.

Deeb recalled that he completed with ace-nine and Bord checked his option. The flop came down {a-}{9-}{2-} with two of them being hearts. Bord check-called a 1,000 bet before leading out for 2,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn. Deeb called and also called Bord's 16,600 shove on the {8-} river. The Brit was bluffing with {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Deeb picked off the bluff.

D'Angelo Dispatches of Robl

Nivel 5 : 200-400, 50 ante

Ryan D'Angelo is through to the second round after seeing off Andrew Robl heads-up.

D'Angelo was trailing by two-to-one but fought back valiantly to beat Robl. The major turning point was when D'Angelo raised to 900 on the button, Robl three-bet to 3,000 only to see D'Angelo four-bet to 6,600. Robl checked his cards and moved all in and D'Angelo made the call.

Robl{A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}
D'Angelo{A-Spades} {Q-Clubs}

D'Angelo was in horrible shape, that is until the {Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and when the turn and river were the {7-Clubs} and {9-Diamonds} respectively Robl was left nursing a micro stack of 1,300.

These went into the pot the very next hand holding {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and D'Angelo called with {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. The board ran out {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Spades} and with that Robl was sent packing and D'Angelo goes through to Day 2 with 74,500 chips.

Adeniya Gets Lucky to Double

Nivel 5 : 200-400, 50 ante

Martins Adeniya is up to a little less than 20,000 chips after getting lucky in a battle-of-the-blinds versus Flavien Guenan.

To be fair the hand played itself as Guenan raised with {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} from the small blind and four-bet all-in when the Brit three-bet with {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} from the big blind.

Adeniya called and got there on the {10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} board.
